I have been a licensed Realtor since 2005 and am a life-long resident of the Champaign-Urbana area. Prior to that I was in advertising and marketing at our local newspaper for over 20 years.
My real estate license was obtained in 2005 and I attribute much of my
expertise and ability to navigate the market from the training, and mentoring by
my managing broker who has served multiple generations of families.
I strive to always be learning as much as possible to assist my clients and have furthered my education by earning the GRI and SRS designation. I am a 10 plus year
Ramsey Trusted real estate provider and am grateful to have been
awarded our local 2019 Affiliate Choice Realtor of the year. Providing excellent
customer service to my clients is a special passion. I enjoy all things
real estate including assisting sellers through their home sale, people relocating to the area, introducing first time home buyers to the process, helping families settle their loved one's estate
and working with clients who would like to build a new home.
Since becoming a Realtor partner with ElderLife it has been a true honor and privilege to guide families going through the process of transitioning their loved ones from their family home to assisted living or long-term care. It can be very overwhelming and emotional for both the loved one and their family members. I have the expertise and knowledge to provide you with the resources to help make the move as smooth as possible. I know first-hand the importance of things like home staging and clean out, repairs etc. and can provide you with the resources to accomplish getting your family home ready to sell for top dollar.
I reside in Champaign with my husband Eric Porter who is also a real
estate broker. We have two grown children. Our son Blake and daughter in law Hilary
live in Champaign. Blake is an entrepeneur with his own tech company and also
leads institutional advancement at Judah Christiam School. Hilary is owner/
operator of Walnut Street Tea Shop with stores in 2 Champaign locations.
An absolute joy in my life is being Mimi to my grandsons Arlo and Maverick! My daughter Bailie lives in the St. Louis area. She works for a PR firm and son-in-law Logan is a project manager.
manager with an engineering firm.
In my spare time I love traveling, working out at the YMCA with friends,
church fellowship, reading and spending time at the family cabin in Wisconsin.
