Veterans aid and assistance

Only the VA can determine eligibility for VA benefits, but our application software was created by a VA accredited attorney based on the eligibility criteria set forth by the Department of Veterans and the attorney’s decade long experience helping families receive A&A benefits.

Filing your application with the VA is free. We do offer software packages for a one-time fee that will help simplify your application, with cross-checking measures along the way, so you can be sure your application is completed successfully.

By purchasing the A&A.com application technology, the customer understands and agrees that they are purchasing software to facilitate the completion of Department of Veterans Affairs Aid and Attendance Pension benefits. The customer understands and agrees that neither A&A.com nor any employees or representatives of A&A.com are VA accredited attorney’s or agents and will not prepare or submit a claim for Aid and Attendance benefits to the VA and that only the Department of Veterans Affairs can make a determination of eligibility. Employees of A&A.com have received extensive training on the application software and are qualified to provide assistance with navigating the application technology. The application software, as well as the “See If I Qualify” software were created and are maintained by an elder law attorney accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The attorney is a recognized industry expert with over a decade of experience and has given CLE’s to other attorney’s and has successfully helped hundreds/thousands of families obtain VA benefits.

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs provides useful information for those who wish to learn more about the Veterans Pension Program. On the VA website, you can find out who is eligible. There are pension benefits for the veteran and for the surviving spouse and dependent children of the veteran.

Bridge loans

A Financial Concierge® will work with you to determine how much additional money you’ll need while you’re waiting for your long term plan to pay for care to realize.

You can apply over the phone by calling our toll-free number (888) 228-4500 or online by using our secure form. In most cases, you can complete your application in less than five minutes. There are no fees to apply, and the process is fast and easy. Also, as many as six people can apply on the loan, and they don’t have to be related.

There is no prepayment penalty on the loan. You can pay the entire balance due at any time during the life of the loan without penalty.

Your funds are sent directly to the senior living community quickly and easily. Each month you decide what you would like to send, and the amount you request can vary month by month.

Most ElderLife Bridge Loans are structured like a line of credit. You only draw down what you need on a monthly basis. While we approve you for the credit limit, you only pay interest on what you borrow and you only pay back what you drew down. However, if you need a large sum up front, ElderLife can structure the loan as an amortizing loan. A Financial Concierge® will work with you to determine the best structure for you.
