Family Testimonal

"My mom is adjusting well to her new surroundings and told me tonight she likes it a lot and it is not at all what she expected. She is making friends and doing activities. We think she is much more perky than she has been in a long time and getting around much better . . . ."

Assisted Living

How do you find and pay for the right Assisted Living community, arrange for movers, sell the home, look into Veterans Benefits, and get financial help with paying for senior care when you already have so much to do? In one call, Elderlife's Financial Concierge can help you with it all.   Let us arrange a visit with any one of over 3,000 senior housing communities in our Elderlife network; line up a realtor to help you list, stage and sell your home; connect you to professionals that can help you with your Veterans benefits so that you can pay for the assisted living community of your choice today; and help you pay your assisted living costs while you wait for the home to sell or benefits to start with our Elderlife Line of Credit and senior loan solutions. Financial help and assistance for assisted living does exist and we can show you how.

What is Assisted Living? Assisted Living communities cater to seniors who typically need assistance with Activities of Daily Living, or “ADLs”. These communities are often regulated on a state-by-state basis and provide supportive care by employees trained to help seniors unable to live independently.

Assisted Living communities often provide three meals a day; help with the management of medications; assist with bathing, dressing, eating and ambulating; and focus on personal, rather than medical, care.

How do I pay for Assisted Living? Is financial assistance available? Assisted Living communities often are private-pay. Most communities require a monthly rent and many require a community fee equal to one month’s rent up front. Because of these challenges, many assisted living communities accept Elderlife’s Line of Credit for Senior Living to help you and your loved one pay for the care they deserve. These elder care loans are especially helpful while you work on selling a home or waiting for Veteran’s benefits to arrive, something Elderlife can also help arrange for you when you call.
